Cloud File Viewer is a free Chrome extension that previews files stored in Google Cloud Storage from the Cloud Console. There is no account, no subscription and no paid tier. Installing it means you accept these terms.
It reads files on your behalf, through the Google session already open in your browser, with exactly the permissions your own account has. It never writes, modifies or deletes anything in your buckets, and it grants you no access you did not already have.
You remain responsible for your Google Cloud account, its permissions and any cost that reading your own files may incur. Google Cloud Storage charges for network egress; previewing a file downloads only the portion you read, but it is still egress billed by Google under your own terms with them.
The extension is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. It depends on the Google Cloud Console, a third-party interface that can change without notice and break the extension. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damage, data loss or cost arising from its use, nor for any decision taken from a preview it displayed.
Being free, the extension comes with no availability or support commitment. It may be updated, paused or withdrawn from the Chrome Web Store at any time. You can uninstall it at any moment; nothing remains beyond the local data described in the privacy policy.
